PA Compliance's credit database provider, Experian, has acted
upon a 1993 law from Nevada stating the need to notify all
Nevada residents if their SSN has been searched. The Assembly
Bill Number 358 was passed on October 1, 1993, requiring
credit bureaus to disclose all inquiries made on Nevada
residents to the consumer, regardless of whether or not credit
information was provided. As such, Experian has decided to
restrict that data. This ensures Experian complies with the
Nevada legislation and can continue selling Social Search
to non-permissible customers in all remaining states.
