Our Beginnings
In 2001, the General Counsel of a Lincoln, MA mutual fund company, Quantitative Investment Advisors Inc., searched for a
solution to the imminent USA PATRIOT Act regulations. He was dissatisfied with the software products that existed and
decided to develop a system, under the name PA Compliance, to suit his needs. As both the developer and customer, he built
an online customer verification solution that was easy to use, highly accurate, and offered a robust audit capability.
This product was called Check Plus. An OFAC and FinCEN product, Scan Plus, followed in 2003.
Other compliance professionals soon discovered that the PA Compliance suite was highly reliable and cost-effective.
In February of 2006, PA Compliance spun out from Quantitative and became a mature company with over 80 clients that ranged from banks, mutual funds, broker/dealers, hedge funds and insurance companies.
PA Compliance’s clients began asking for other affordable tools that would deliver an integrated compliance approach.
With that in mind, PA Compliance began working diligently to enrich the quality its data and to create tools that would take the stress out of compliance. In March of 2007, PA Compliance launched its new USA Patriot Act compliance software solution – Identiflo.
Identiflo offers a unique tool set to streamline compliance – including a built-in workflow, enhanced corporate checks, email alerts, logic customization options, and data-capture functionality. It delivers a highly accurate system that can easily integrate with almost any platform, and provides Global Watch-List Scanning, Customer Verification, Built-in Workflows, and a Due Diligence/Case Management Center.
